Sublime Original: Ezra Stoller

When we hit a creative rut, we dig into books. Ezra Stoller is often regarded as one of the most influential and demanded architectural photographers of his time. He photographed all the major modernist of the 50’s and 60’s including the likes of I.M Pei, Frank Lloyd Wright, Marcel Breuer, and Paul Rudolph.

In his book, A Photographic History of Modern American Architecture, Stoller documents his exploration of architecture through breathe taking imagery. While his images have become known as the pinnacle record for these individual projects, they are finally all bound together and published in one book.

“I’m not interested in art photography.” Ezra Stoller once said in an interview. “I’m interested in architecture as it is, to look at it and enjoy.”

A Photographic History of Modern American Architecture is available here.
