Sublime Original & Ron Royals present: Sojourn | A Sensory Experience
Fine art photographer, Ron Royals, and handcrafted furniture line, Sublime Original, present “Sojourn | A Sensory Voyage” at 1012 W. Market Center Dr. in High Point, North Carolina on April 4th, 2019 from 6pm to 10pm. This is a rare occasion to view new work from Ron Royals' recent excursion to the exotic islands of the Indian Ocean and the debut of the signature furniture line, Sublime Original.
Ron Royals is an acclaimed fine art photographer whose client list reads like a who's who of the home furniture industry (sorry, we can't name names). The only thing Ron loves better than shooting a beautiful interior is life on the outside. That is, the world of nature. Ron has turned his discerning, creative eye and lens on exterior environments in his work as a fine art photographer. An avid traveller, Ron looks at every trip as a photo adventure - from the streets of Paris to the Indonesian coast. Collectors and discerning clients are drawn to Ron's work as he interprets classic subject matter in new, innovative ways - with an artist's eye.
Founded by international designer Julia Sanford, Sublime Original (SO) debuts an extraordinary collection of covetous furniture. Pieces are created that transcend trends, that surprise in the purposeful, sophisticated dichotomy of modern shapes and ancient methods. Designs are crafted by hand, sanded to a polished sheen, silvered with patina and salt air, or washed in white. Dedicated to the production and acquisition of honorable and durable pieces, they know the carvers, the makers, the painters and their patrons. They adore their handiwork, their traditions, their textures – and chiefly, their mutual adoration for the sublime and original.
